The girl specializes in mingling in wedding parties to steal wedding money.

On October 27, Dan Phuong District Police ( Hanoi City) is criminally detaining Hoang Khanh Linh (20 years old, local resident) to investigate the act of property theft.

According to authorities, at noon on October 25, Linh was caught red-handed stealing wedding money at a wedding in Lien Trung commune, Dan Phuong district. The 20-year-old girl took advantage of the time to pick up the bride and sneaked up to the second floor to take 51 wedding envelopes, totaling more than 19 million VND.

At the investigation headquarters, Linh confessed that in addition to the above incident, she had committed many other crimes using similar methods.

Specifically, on September 24, Linh broke into a wooden box containing wedding gifts at the wedding of Ms. NTV's daughter (in Ha Mo commune) to steal. On the same day, Linh "stole" 135 wedding gift envelopes at the wedding of Ms. D.T.D.'s daughter (in Tan Hoi commune).

In addition, authorities determined that Linh also stole at a wedding in Thuong Mo commune on October 3 and Thach My Loc commune (Phuc Tho district, Hanoi) on October 24.

To commit the crime, Linh pretended to be an invited guest, dressed up in fancy clothes, and rode a luxury motorbike to the wedding. Then, the girl took advantage of the family's wedding reception to steal.

The total amount of wedding gifts the girl stole was approximately 200 million VND.
