(Dan Tri) - In the report cards of two students, the homeroom teacher commented that the students were not diligent and needed to make more effort in their studies.
The incident of two students at Nguyen Cong Tru High School, Ho Chi Minh City, having their report cards replaced with new ones stemmed from the comments of their homeroom teacher.
Specifically, in the report card of student HG and student BT, class 12A9 last school year, the homeroom teacher KM wrote a comment stating that the student was not diligent and needed to make more effort in studying.
From this comment, the student's parents sent a petition to the school.
Afterwards, Nguyen Cong Tru High School held a meeting, made a professional assessment and said that the teacher's comments were not in line with the learning abilities of the two students.

Therefore, the school decided to "transfer" (transfer scores, sign) all scores and results in the 3 years of study of these 2 students from the old transcripts to the new transcripts last June.
Ms. MK, the person who wrote the above comments, also admitted that during the "session" she did not discuss with the parents to grasp the situation and was subjective when writing comments in the student's report card.
It is known that HG and BT are students in the school's "key" class, a class that has no good or average students. The average scores at the end of the year for all subjects of these two students are very high, achieving excellent academic performance and good conduct.
As Dan Tri reported, last June, at Nguyen Cong Tru High School, the school changed the transcripts for two students, HG and BT, of class 12A9.
34 teachers, including homeroom teachers and subject teachers of these two students from grades 10 to 12, were mobilized to "transfer" scores from the old report card to the new report card.
The school affirmed that it did not change students' scores, but only adjusted the homeroom teacher's comments to suit the students' abilities to ensure their rights.
