As of December 4, male student NHB (grade 9 student, Nguyen Van Cu Secondary School, Thong Nhat Ward, Gia Lai Province) was still being treated at Hospital 331 with a chest wound from being stabbed by a friend.
According to initial information, due to a previous conflict, after morning school, NHB and LVT (both 9th grade students, Nguyen Van Cu Secondary School) made an appointment to meet at a coffee shop near the school.

After being stabbed in the chest by a classmate, a 9th grade male student is still being treated in the hospital.
At around 11:30 a.m. on December 1, when they met at a coffee shop, the two got into a fight. At this time, LVT pulled out a knife that he had prepared in advance and stabbed NHB in the chest, injuring her and requiring her to be taken to Hospital 331 for emergency treatment.
At the hospital, doctors determined that the open wound in the chest area was caused by a sharp object. Fortunately, the wound was not life-threatening.
According to Ms. Hoang Thuy Ngan, Principal of Nguyen Van Cu Secondary School, after the incident, the school's Board of Directors and the homeroom teachers of the two classes visited NHB and worked with the students involved. At the same time, the parents of the students were notified to take deterrent measures.
According to Ms. Ngan, NHB and LVT were usually close friends, but due to a temporary conflict, impulsive thinking led to foolish actions.
"Although the incident took place outside of school grounds and outside of school hours, the school is still paying special attention and will hold a disciplinary council meeting to take action and deter," Ms. Ngan emphasized.
