City Police Training on Digital Transformation and Deploying Artificial Intelligence (AI) Applications

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of May 27, the City Police Department held a training conference on digital transformation and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in administrative reform. Colonel Bui Trung Thanh, Deputy Director of the City Police Department chaired the conference.

Speaking at the Conference, Colonel Bui Trung Thanh, Deputy Director of the City Police, emphasized: Digital transformation is an inevitable trend, an urgent requirement in the current period, aiming to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management activities, better serving the needs of people and businesses. In particular, the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in professional activities, including the dissemination of legaleducation and administrative reform, is opening up many breakthrough opportunities for the People's Police force in the process of modernization, building digital government and solving people's work in the city.

The training conference is a practical activity, aiming to thoroughly grasp and disseminate the contents of digital transformation work, raise awareness of leaders, commanders, officers, soldiers, especially key cadres on digital transformation in general and digital transformation in the People's Public Security in particular, contributing to improving the effectiveness of propaganda, dissemination and education of law and administrative reform in the Hai Phong City Police. Thereby, further promoting the role and responsibility of leaders, commanders at all levels and officers and soldiers in implementing the requirements and tasks of digital transformation work of the City Police. Training on contents serving the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) applications in public security work, focusing on the work of receiving, handling administrative procedures and propaganda, dissemination and education of law at the grassroots level.

Colonel Bui Trung Thanh, Deputy Director of the City Police, requested that after the training conference, the Police of units and localities should proactively deploy and apply it immediately in practice, especially in the work of propaganda and dissemination of legal education. In addition, seriously implement Plan 529/KH-CAHP-PV01 dated March 10, 2025 of the City Police on improving the PAR Index in 2025 to serve the scoring of the PAR of the City Police in September 2025; promote initiatives, improve methods, effectively use digital applications and AI technology to serve professional work; actively advise and propose synchronous, in-depth digital transformation solutions, associated with the characteristics of each Police unit and locality; strengthen internal training and education, helping the whole unit quickly master technology and improve digital capacity.

At the Conference, representatives of Mobifone Telecommunications Corporation informed and shared some contents related to: Overview of artificial intelligence (AI); some AI applications in administrative management; some digital transformation solutions at Hai Phong City Police….
