On the afternoon of October 16, within the framework of the 18th Party Congress, term 2025-2030, the Hanoi Party Committee elected the Executive Committee of the City Party Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee - representing the Congress Presidium chaired the Executive Committee election session.

The Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee has 5 members.

According to Mr. Phong, the Executive Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, 18th term, has the following structure:

Standing Committee of the City Party Committee includes Secretary and Deputy Secretary: 5 members.

The Party Committees will have a structure of 9 members, including: the City Party Committee's Organization Committee: 2 members; the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee: 2 members; the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee: 2 members; the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee: 2 members; the City Party Committee's Office: 1 member.

The Standing Committee of the City People's Council and the Hanoi National Assembly Delegation, including the Vice Chairmen of the City People's Council and Deputy Heads of the City National Assembly Delegation, will have 4 members.

The leadership of Hanoi People's Committee includes the Vice Chairmen of Hanoi People's Committee with 5 members.

Hanoi Capital Command, Hanoi City Police has 3 members.

Regarding the armed forces, Mr. Phong said that regulation 323 of the Politburo stipulates that the Commander will participate in the Standing Committee of the Provincial and Municipal Party Committees; the Political Commissar will participate in the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial and Municipal Party Committees.

Accordingly, the Congress will nominate and introduce 86 people and elect 75 people to join the Hanoi Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, with a balance of 14.67%.

The delegations will then meet with the presidium and secretariat to discuss for 30 minutes to approve the election list.

Next, the Hanoi Party Committee elected the Executive Committee of the City Party Committee for the new term.
