The leader of the Department of Science and Technology awarded the trademark certificate to the District Department of Culture and Information.
– On the morning of February 22, at Huu Lien commune, Huu Lung district, the district Department of Culture and Information held a ceremony to announce the decision to grant the certificate of trademark “Dong Lam – Huu Lien Tourism ”.
At the ceremony, delegates listened to a summary report on the development situation and the process of building the certification brand "Dong Lam - Huu Lien Tourism". Community tourism in Huu Lien commune was put into operation in 2017 when tourists became more familiar with Dong Lam grassland. In 2020, the community tourism village of Huu Lien commune was recognized. Currently, the types of service businesses in the area are quite diverse and rich, such as: homestay accommodation services, resorts; experiential tourism services, services for buying and selling souvenirs, traditional products, local specialties and entertainment services, cultural and artistic organizations... According to statistics from the district's Department of Culture and Information, the number of tourists to Huu Lien has increased gradually over the years, in 2023 the number of visitors is estimated to reach more than 680 thousand, with revenue estimated at more than 264 billion VND.
Realizing the development potential, the District People's Committee has directed specialized agencies to coordinate with the People's Committee of Huu Lien commune to focus on promoting tourism development, investing in infrastructure such as parking lots, road systems, wastewater treatment systems, lighting lines, mobilizing people to preserve and maintain traditional culture, environmental landscapes, etc. At the same time, in April 2023, the District Department of Culture and Information submitted an application to the Department of Intellectual Property - Ministry of Science and Technology to organize the appraisal and decide to grant the certificate of trademark "Dong Lam - Huu Lien Tourism".

During the program, the leaders of the Department of Science and Technology awarded the certificate of registration of the trademark “Dong Lam – Huu Lien Tourism” to the representative of the district’s Department of Culture and Information. At the same time, the leaders of the district’s Department of Culture and Information awarded the certificate of right to use the certification trademark to qualified entities (including 19 homestay owners).
The granting of a trademark certificate is an important basis for the People's Committee of Huu Lung district to manage and improve the quality of tourism products and income for businesses and people in the area. At the same time, tourists also have a better experience and feel more secure when coming and using tourism products here.
