The emulation cluster of the Journalists Association of the Northwestern mountainous provinces agreed on important solutions for 2024

The emulation cluster of the Journalists' Associations of the Northwest mountainous provinces comprises six units: Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai , Lao Cai, Phu Tho, and Vinh Phuc. Over the years, the Journalists' Associations of the Northwest mountainous provinces have consistently received timely leadership and guidance from the Vietnam Journalists' Association, as well as from the local Party committees and authorities.

The role of the association has always been affirmed, contributing together with the Party Committee, government, and people of the six mountainous provinces of Northwest Vietnam to successfully implement socio-economic development tasks, Party building, and the political system in these localities.

Localities have continued to vigorously implement Directive 43-CT/TW dated April 8, 2020, of the Party Central Committee on "Strengthening the Party's leadership over the activities of the Vietnam Journalists Association in the new situation"; creating a strong transformation in the quality of the Association's activities.

Continue to promote the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style, linking it with the professional ethics education of journalists, specifically through the emulation of creating a cultured media organization and a cultured journalistic work. Focus on improving the quality of journalistic works, paying particular attention to the selection of works for participation in competitions, journalism awards, and the National Journalism Award.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Bang, Chairman of the Vinh Phuc Journalists Association, said that in the past period, the Emulation Cluster of Journalists Associations in the Northwest mountainous provinces has actively responded to emulation movements; and proactively innovated the work of emulation and reward.

The patriotic emulation movements launched and implemented effectively within the emulation cluster, in accordance with Ho Chi Minh's ideology on patriotic emulation, have yielded significant results, contributing to the successful fulfillment of assigned functions and tasks.

In 2023, in response to the emulation movement within the Cluster, from the beginning of the year, the Associations proactively developed plans for emulation and reward activities. During anniversaries, celebrations of major holidays, and important events of the country and the province, the Associations launched emulation movements among their branches and journalist members.

The emulation cluster has successfully implemented the registration and signing of emulation agreements between units within the cluster, focusing on monitoring, inspecting, and summarizing emulation movements, and doing a good job of evaluating and proposing appropriate forms of reward for collectives and individuals who have achieved many outstanding achievements.

The effective organization and implementation of emulation and reward programs and the emulation movements launched during the year have created a vibrant atmosphere of competition, truly serving as a driving force for the development of the Associations within the Cluster, making important contributions to the fulfillment of the political tasks of the localities and the overall emulation movement of the Vietnam Journalists Association and the press nationwide.

In 2024, the Northwest Mountain Provinces Journalists' Association Emulation Cluster will continue to focus on political and professional training and development; educating and enhancing the professional ethics of journalists in conjunction with studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh; strengthening the organization of the association; maintaining regular emulation and reward activities; implementing cultural, artistic, and sports activities within the journalistic community; and exchanging experiences among member associations in the emulation cluster.

At the conference, delegates watched a documentary about the construction of model cultural villages in Vinh Phuc province and focused on discussing and exchanging experiences to improve the effectiveness of local journalists' associations.

Members of the cluster voted for the Vinh Phuc Journalists Association to receive the Emulation Flag from the Vietnam Journalists Association; the Tuyen Quang Journalists Association and the Yen Bai Journalists Association received Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam Journalists Association.
