According to Lao Dong, the continuous expansion of new flight routes is an effective stimulus strategy, attracting more and more foreign tourists to Da Nang .

According to the plan, Da Nang expects the number of visitors in 2026 to reach 19.5 million, an increase of 12% compared to 2025. After more than 5 years of suspension, the direct flight connecting the technology and financial center of Shenzhen (China) with Da Nang has resumed. In October 2025, Vietjet Air launched a flight connecting the capital Kuala Lumpur with the coastal city of Da Nang, the third flight connecting Malaysia and Vietnam.

In 2025, direct charter flights from Astana, Almaty (Kazakhstan) and Tashkent (Uzbekistan) will be put into operation with a frequency of 16 flights/week.

This will initially contribute to facilitating tourists and promoting growth of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) market.
