According to Booking.com data, these five destinations are among the world's top beach cities and are among the most popular and expensive summer travel destinations (June to August).

However, these are destinations with high summer price fluctuations, meaning that during the 3-month summer period, tourists can find times when room prices fluctuate to suit their budget thanks to discounts and promotions (such as the Getaway Deals program on Booking.com). For example, in Porto Cervo, Italy, one of the favorite summer vacation destinations of the world's top celebrities, the difference in room and tour prices during the summer can be up to 21%.
