On February 20th, the Da Nang City Department of Construction announced that the leaders of the Da Nang City People's Committee had agreed and assigned the Department of Construction to take the lead, in coordination with MoNo BoGo Vietnam Co., Ltd. (the socialized investor) and Minh Tuan Tu Consulting and Construction Co., Ltd. (the project contractor), in developing a plan to concentrate all the dragon mascots for Tet decorations and some floral decorations in the plot of land northwest of the intersection of Vo Van Kiet and Vo Nguyen Giap roads.
The entire plot of land where Dragon Park is being built covers approximately 2.8 hectares. This plot of land is currently being planned for the construction of a financial center. Dragon Park is located here temporarily, before the project is implemented according to the plan.

At the same time, coordinate with relevant units and social enterprises that wish to partner with the city to invest in decorating Dragon Park and organize the operation, maintenance and repair of the park's facilities throughout 2024.

The city of Da Nang has assigned the Construction Engineering Consulting Center to develop a preliminary design plan for the construction of Dragon Park on the aforementioned land plot, ensuring that it meets architectural and landscape requirements and creates a new and exciting tourist check-in point.
Total revenue from Da Nang's tourism industry during the Lunar New Year of the Dragon 2024 is estimated at 1,580 billion VND.
It also includes essential public amenities (toilets, food stalls, photo printing and photography service stalls, outdoor art performance stage, administration building, permanent security guard house, etc.) to serve local residents and tourists visiting and enjoying the experience.

Regarding the Ly Dynasty dragon statue made of Bat Trang ceramics located on the T-shaped bridge (opposite 42 Bach Dang Street), city leaders have agreed to keep it until the end of 2024, until a suitable and dignified location is chosen for permanent display.
