Provincial National Assembly delegates meet voters of My Dong and Thanh Son wards

On September 27, National Assembly deputies (NA deputies) of the province (constituency No. 1) including comrades: Nguyen Dinh Khang, member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor ; Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the NA Delegation of the province had a meeting with voters in My Dong and Thanh Son wards (Phan Rang - Thap Cham City).

After listening to the delegates' report on the expected program of the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly, voters of My Dong ward gave their opinions and recommendations on issues such as: Creating conditions for local people to travel far away and be imported when they need to return; strengthening preventive medicine work, preventing disease outbreaks in residential areas; considering lowering the age of enjoying the elderly policy from 80 to 75 years old, receiving social allowances; needing to notify people when their health insurance expires to pay in time, ensuring their rights; provincial-level medical examination and treatment prescribes many drugs not on the list, patients have to pay, causing economic difficulties for the poor participating in health insurance; the province considers establishing a geriatric department at the provincial hospital, contributing to improving specialized health care for the elderly; reducing procedures in establishing land use right certificates; Pay attention to supplementing medical human resources for commune-level health care, promptly taking care of people's health and reducing the load on higher levels, paying attention to investing in facilities and medical equipment at grassroots levels...

Voters of Thanh Son ward recommend: It is necessary to separate and adjust part of the administrative boundaries of My Binh ward to Thanh Son ward to ensure criteria on area and population; increase allowances for grassroots and part-time officials in communes and wards; strictly manage advertising of poor quality goods on mass media channels; need to have a plan to remove difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing registration and activating electronic identification; consider issuing a uniform set of textbooks and school uniforms, creating convenience for parents to equip their children; consider adjusting and reducing textbook prices to suit people's income levels.

Comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation responded to voters' opinions of My Dong ward.

After the localities and functional agencies responded to the petitions, on behalf of the provincial National Assembly deputies, comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged and highly appreciated the enthusiastic and responsible opinions of voters; at the same time, informed about some contents of voters' interest. Regarding opinions related to the levels in the province, he requested that localities coordinate with functional agencies to absorb, study carefully, resolve thoroughly, in accordance with regulations, and promptly for voters. Regarding difficult issues related to laws and legal regulations, he hoped that voters would sympathize, share and soon synthesize to submit to ministries, branches, the Central Government, and the National Assembly for consideration in the next session.
