Speaking at the congress, Mr. Vu Xuan Chuong, Editor-in-Chief of Phu Tho Newspaper and Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial Journalists Association, acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Phu Tho Newspaper Journalists Association branch during the past term.

The Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial Journalists Association also requested that in the coming time, the Phu Tho Newspaper Journalists Association branch should actively promote activities and improve quality in conjunction with the unit's professional tasks, encouraging members to continuously conduct self-study to improve professional skills and the quality of journalistic works, meeting the information needs of the public.

Reportedly, the Phu Tho Newspaper Journalists' Association currently has 53 members, including leaders, reporters, editors, technicians, and staff of the Phu Tho Newspaper editorial office.

During the past term, the Branch Association successfully carried out its professional tasks, strictly adhering to the principles and objectives of the provincial Party newspaper, focusing on disseminating the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and regulations. It closely followed the leadership, direction, and guidance of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, the Vietnam Journalists Association , the Phu Tho Provincial Journalists Association, and the leadership of the Party Committee and Editorial Board of Phu Tho Newspaper, implementing tasks in a practical and effective manner.

98.5% of members and reporters participated in studying and implementing the directives and resolutions of the Party, the policies and laws of the State; and the resolutions and documents of the Vietnam Journalists Association and the Provincial Journalists Association.

The Phu Tho Newspaper Journalists' Association organized training courses for 21 members and reporters organized by the Vietnam Journalists Association and the Phu Tho Provincial Journalists Association... Members also actively participated in activities, emulation movements, and humanitarian and charitable activities organized by the agency...

Building on the achievements of the past term, for the 2023-2025 term, the Phu Tho Newspaper Journalists Association has set several specific goals: Annually, 10-15 journalistic works will win Phu Tho provincial journalism awards, and efforts will be made to have works win the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award, the National Journalism Award, and journalism awards from central ministries and agencies. The association will also focus on improving its emulation and reward system, and sending 10-15 members to participate in journalism training courses organized by the Vietnam Journalists Association, the Phu Tho Provincial Journalists Association, and central ministries and agencies…

Congress of the Phu Tho Journalists Association, term 2023-2025, democracy, unity, intelligence and creativity (Figure 4) — The Secretariat of the Phu Tho Journalists Association for the 2023-2025 term was introduced at the Congress.

At the congress, five comrades were elected to the Branch Secretariat for the 2023-2025 term. On this occasion, the Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial Journalists Association, Vu Xuan Chuong, presented certificates of merit to members who had achieved outstanding results in association activities.
