On the evening of November 1st, the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province held the opening ceremony of the 2024 Hoa Binh Highland Market Fair with the theme "Market Fair - The Beauty of the Highlands" at the Lac Son district stadium (Hoa Binh).

The market will take place from November 1st to 5th.
The fair is provincial-level, with over 100 participating stalls, including: stalls selling agricultural products and typical goods from ethnic minority communities in the districts and cities of the province; stalls from Lac Son district and its communes; a food area; a rural market; commercial stalls; outdoor entertainment...
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong, Vice Chairman of the Hoa Binh Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that this is an important event with practical economic, political , and social significance, aiming to promote economic and trade relations, introduce products in ethnic minority areas, and expand cooperation between localities in the province and nationwide. This will help businesses, cooperatives, and production and service establishments access markets, reach consumers, find partners, and expand their product markets both within and outside the province.
In addition, the Fair also aims to support businesses, cooperatives, and ethnic minority households in building and developing products and goods with competitive advantages; promoting, encouraging, introducing, and consuming traditional products, characteristic products, especially products under the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program, ecotourism, cultural and historical tourism... contributing to the socio-economic development of localities.
