On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), on July 19, the working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province led by Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, offered incense to commemorate the Heroes and Martyrs at Truong Bon National Historical Site ( Nghe An ).
Accompanying the delegation were comrades: Tong Quang Thin, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Do Viet Anh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; Bui Mai Hoa, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Commission; leaders of the Provincial People's Council; representatives of leaders of departments, agencies, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.
Truong Bon - the heroic land, is the place that marks the heroic feats and sacrifices of our army and people in the resistance war against America to save the country; the resting place of the elite children who devoted their youth to the country.
At Truong Bon National Historical Relic Site, the provincial delegation respectfully offered incense, flowers, and lit incense sticks, expressing their respect and deep gratitude at the graves of 13 heroes and martyrs of the "Steel Squad" and the Memorial Church of 1,240 martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation and reunification.
Before the souls of heroes and martyrs, the Party Committee, Government, army and people of Ninh Binh province vow to unite and work together to build our homeland to become more and more developed, prosperous and happy.
During this special journey back to the source, the provincial delegation offered incense at the Dong Loc T-junction relic site to commemorate the heroic sacrifice of 10 female youth volunteer martyrs.
