(NLDO) - The 27th Vo Truong Toan Award ceremony in 2024 is expected to take place on November 18.
The Vo Truong Toan Award is organized annually by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training in collaboration with the Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper to honor and express gratitude for the contributions of cadres and teachers.
The Vo Truong Toan Award Council 2024 met, selected and announced the list of 37 teachers and 13 managers receiving the Vo Truong Toan Award, specifically as follows:

According to the Award Selection Council, the awardees include teachers directly teaching at publiceducational institutions (except guest teachers).
As for continuing education centers, vocational education - continuing education centers only consider awarding prizes to teachers teaching general education programs in the continuing education system.
The awardees also include heads and deputy heads of educational institutions and civil servants working at departments under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, district and Thu Duc City Departments of Education and Training.
At each level, a maximum of 10 awards will be given, including 8 teachers and 2 administrators.
Of which, preschool, primary, secondary and high schools have a maximum of 10 awards, while continuing education centers, vocational education - continuing education centers have a maximum of 3 individuals; specialized schools have a maximum of 3 individuals and departments under the Department of Education and Training, and Departments of Education and Training have a maximum of 4 individuals awarded.
In case there are 2 individuals who meet the criteria for the award and are ranked 10th, priority conditions will be considered including: female gender; having more seniority in the education sector; having higher achievements; working in remote areas, areas with difficult conditions...
