Expanding employment opportunities
International cooperation is one of the important factors contributing to improving the quality of nursing human resources and opening up job opportunities in markets of some countries such as Japan, the Federal Republic of Germany...

For a long time, Danang Medical College has been trying to expand cooperation with international partners, especially in Japan and Germany, to create job opportunities and career development for nursing students. At the same time, it focuses on supporting, consulting and introducing jobs for students after graduation, especially sending students to work abroad.
Since 2013, the school has participated in cooperation programs between the Vietnamese Government and countries such as Germany and Japan. By 2017, the school has proactively connected with Japanese medical companies and corporations to expand career opportunities for students.
After a long time of connecting efforts, Da Nang Medical College has achieved many results in international cooperation in the nursing industry. In Germany, there are currently 38 students of the school working under the cooperation agreement, of which 30 students have obtained practice certificates and wish to settle permanently.
In Japan (EPA Program of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs), there are 15 students working under the cooperation program between the two governments. The school has signed cooperation agreements with many large Japanese medical corporations, including Aoyama, Yokohama and Kanagawa, helping students have stable jobs with an average income of 130,000 - 170,000 yen/month.
Students are also supported to learn Japanese and take the national practice certificate exam (N2) during their working time. In 2021, the school signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Nagasaki Health and Welfare Department (Japan), opening up a sustainable direction in training and recommending high-quality nursing staff. Currently, there are 4 students working in Nagasaki.
At Danang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy, we are constantly expanding cooperation with international partners, especially in Japan and Germany, to create job opportunities and career development for nursing students.
“In cooperation with Japan, the school has coordinated with partners to train Japanese and integrate cultural content and professional skills into the curriculum, helping students meet job requirements and quickly adapt after working in Japan. Currently, the school's cooperation network continues to expand with many domestic and foreign partners, thereby opening up more high-quality job opportunities for students after graduation,” said Dr. Luu Thi Thuy.
