Not only bustling on the field, the final match between the two teams Mong Duong (Quang Ninh) and Lam Thuong (Lao Cai) also attracted a lot of attention and love from audiences across the country. The 2025 Quang Ninh Province Ethnic Minority Women's Football Tournament - VTV5 Cup is organized by the Ethnic Language Television Department - Vietnam Television (VTV5) in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh Province and the People's Committee of Binh Lieu Commune, with the goal of improving the spiritual life and expanding development opportunities for women in the highlands.
The tournament is organized with the aim of honoring the culture of ethnic minorities, encouraging highland women to confidently participate in community activities, promoting gender equality and spreading the spirit of healthy sports. This is also an activity to promote the mass sports movement and promote tourism in Binh Lieu - a land rich in tradition and unique landscapes of Quang Ninh .

From December 3 to 7, Binh Lieu football field hosted 15 matches, capturing the footprints of 130 players of various ages and professions. The oldest striker was in his 60s, the youngest was a 16-year-old female student.
During the 5 days of competition, 8 teams with players from many ethnic groups such as San Chi, Dao Thanh Y, Dao Thanh Phan, San Diu, Tay, Cao Lan..., created more than 70 goals, creating a series of beautiful memories for the tournament. On digital platforms, the tournament reached nearly 1 million views, exploded in the media with many million-view clips, created a strong spreading effect, and received a lot of attention and support from audiences across the country.
