The projects inspected by Inspection Team No. 3 include: the Chi Thanh - Van Phong and Van Phong - Nha Trang sections of the North-South Expressway ( Eastern section), and component projects 1 and 3 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway, with a total length of approximately 199.3 km (accounting for about 20% of the total expressway kilometers to be completed in 2025).

During the implementation of the projects, the Government , the Prime Minister, and ministries, sectors, and localities have paid close attention and directed the timely resolution of many difficulties and obstacles to accelerate the progress of projects within the scope of Inspection Team No. 3. However, the construction progress in the past period has been slow and has not met the set plan.
To ensure the completion of the projects and sections by December 19, 2025, contributing to the completion of 3,000 km of expressways as directed by the Government and the Prime Minister, and the goals set forth in the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long requested the Ministry of Construction, the People's Committees of Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak provinces, and relevant units to make greater efforts and show more determination to complete the projects on schedule and without delay.
Specifically, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Construction, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, and the People's Committee of Dak Lak province to direct investors and contractors to proactively implement solutions to respond to and overcome adverse weather conditions and natural disasters. In particular, they should select locations for temporary camps and accommodation for officials and workers in high-lying areas, far from rivers and streams, and away from areas at risk of landslides; quickly clear the site and restore the construction area; and update new weather and hydrological data to promptly adjust the design to ensure stability and sustainability.
The Ministry of Construction is decisively directing investors and contractors to mobilize maximum financial resources, supplement machinery, equipment, and personnel to resume construction as soon as possible; organize construction in "3 shifts, 4 teams," and carry out phased construction of road foundations, surfaces, and traffic safety systems to ensure the completion of the Chi Thanh - Van Phong section of the project by December 19, 2025, as planned.
The People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province continues to urge and direct the investor and contractor to accelerate the progress of asphalt paving and traffic safety systems to put the first 20km of Component Project 1 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway into operation by December 19, 2025, while also accelerating the construction progress of the remaining 11.5km to complete the entire project soon and put it into operation, maximizing investment efficiency.
The People's Committee of Dak Lak province is decisively directing departments, agencies, and local authorities to accelerate the progress of land clearance and relocation of power lines to hand over the entire land area to the investor; and directing the investor and contractors to speed up the construction progress of the asphalt concrete road surface and traffic safety system to complete Component 3 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway project by December 19, 2025.
The Ministry of Construction is tasked with continuing to monitor and urge relevant ministries, sectors, localities, and agencies to focus on implementation according to their functions, duties, and authority, promptly identifying difficulties and obstacles to report to the Head of the Inspection Team for guidance, ensuring the quality, progress, and completion of projects as planned.
