According to the representative of Da Nang Social Insurance, the situation of late payment of insurance is not only a violation of the law but also directly infringes on the legitimate rights of workers.

When businesses do not fulfill their obligations, employees risk losing their health insurance benefits, and not being able to receive sick leave, maternity leave, work-related accidents, or unemployment benefits.

Da Nang Social Insurance said it will continue to urge and send notices to units that are late in paying; in case of deliberate delay, coercive measures will be applied or the case will be transferred to the police for handling according to regulations.

The insurance agency also warned that prolonged debt will cause large accumulated interest, increasing debt repayment pressure for businesses, while reducing employees' trust in their employers.
