Sharing about the figure of "highest Tet bonus of 100 million VND", Mr. Nguyen Quoc Anh, Vice Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, said that the understanding that the highest Tet bonus at the school is 100 million VND is not correct.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Anh informed that the annual Tet bonus at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology is implemented according to the 13th month salary regulations for staff, employees and lecturers.
Specifically, everyone will have a Tet bonus equivalent to one month's salary they are receiving. To put it simply, a person receiving a salary of 20 million VND will receive a Tet bonus of 20 million VND.
As for the highest bonus, Mr. Anh said it is difficult to answer accurately because the salary belongs to the employee's personal information.
Nguyen Tat Thanh University
A representative of Nguyen Tat Thanh University informed that for many years, the school has always maintained the Tet bonus level according to the rule that everyone is the same, regardless of job position.
Specifically, in 2024, the school decided to give Lunar New Year bonuses to lecturers and employees at 1.5 times the agreed salary.
