Adjusting the development investment capital plan from the state budget to implement Program 1719

The Provincial People's Council has just issued a resolution on adjusting the development investment capital plan from the central and provincial budgets to implement the National Target Program for socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas (Program 1719), plan for 2023.

Accordingly, over 18 billion VND of the provincial budget's counterpart funding (land use fee revenue) for Project 2 and Sub-project 1 (under Project 5) of Program 1719 has been reduced. Specifically, 8 billion VND of the allocated capital for 9 investment projects under Project 2 has been reduced; and over 10.4 billion VND of the allocated capital for 9 investment projects under Sub-project 1 (Project 5) has been reduced.

The total investment capital plan for development in 2023 allocated for the implementation of Program 1719, after adjustments, is over 517 billion VND (including: central government budget of nearly 505.5 billion VND, provincial budget of over 11.5 billion VND).

Irrigation projects in Cu Prong commune (Ea Kar district) were funded by Program 1719.

Adjustments to the 2023 development investment capital plan between investment projects under Sub-project 1 (Project 4) and Sub-project 1 (Project 5) of Program 1719 include: a reduction of VND 4 billion in the planned capital for 6 investment projects under Sub-project 1 (Project 5); an increase of VND 4 billion in the planned capital for 2 investment projects under Sub-project 1 (Project 4); and adjustments to the capital allocation structure for 4 investment projects under Sub-project 1 (Project 5) in 2023.
