
For the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway (including 4 lanes and 2 emergency lanes), lane 1 (lane next to the median strip): prohibits trucks with a total weight of over 7.5 tons from circulating; specialized trucks (except for money transport vehicles); specialized vehicles; tractors; trailers; passenger cars with over 29 seats. Vehicles allowed to circulate on lane 1 must comply with the maximum speed of 100km/h, minimum speed of 80km/h (minimum speed increased from 60 to 80km/h). Lane 2 (lane next to the emergency lane): regardless of vehicle type, comply with the maximum speed of 100km/h, minimum speed of 60km/h (minimum speed remains the same).
For the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway, the Vietnam Road Administration added the following content: banning trucks with a total weight of over 7.5 tons and passenger cars with over 29 seats from traveling on lane 1. Vehicles allowed to travel on lane 1 must comply with the maximum speed of 120km/h and the minimum speed of 80km/h. Lane 2, regardless of vehicle type, must comply with the maximum speed of 120km/h and the minimum speed of 60km/h.
For the above two expressways, the Vietnam Road Administration also stipulates that vehicles traveling on lane 2, if they need to overtake another vehicle traveling in the same direction, are allowed to switch to lane 1 to overtake, then switch back to lane 2 to continue traveling.
According to the decision of the Vietnam Road Administration, the implementation period of the above pilot traffic organization plan is 1 month, starting from October 27. 10 days before the expiration date of the pilot traffic organization plan, Road Management Area IV is responsible for completing the traffic organization plan to replace the above pilot traffic organization plan.
