Female entrepreneurs reach new heights in the new era

The event was organized by the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council (VWEC) under the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in coordination with the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

As an annual event, this year's Forum with the theme "Women Entrepreneurs Reaching Out in the New Era" affirms the aspiration for innovation, creativity and breakthrough of Vietnamese female entrepreneurs in the period when the country enters a new period of development, when science - technology, innovation and international integration become key driving forces for sustainable development.

The event also demonstrates the close cooperation between Vietnam and international partners in sustainable and inclusive development and promoting the development of women-owned businesses.

In his opening speech, VCCI Chairman Pham Tan Cong said that recently, the Politburo has issued four Resolutions which are considered institutional pillars, creating strong momentum to move our country forward in the new era; including Resolution 57-NQ/TW on science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation which is being strongly implemented in all sectors and the business community.

For the Vietnamese business community, especially women-owned businesses, this is a golden time to make a breakthrough, take the lead in science and technology trends, innovate, digitally transform, improve competitiveness and affirm their position in the global value chain.

According to the VCCI President, currently, women-owned enterprises account for nearly 25% of the total number of enterprises in the country - an impressive rate in the ASEAN region. According to him, female entrepreneurs not only contribute positively to the national budget and create jobs for millions of workers, but also bring different values to business management and development: that is, humane thinking, perseverance, desire for innovation and pioneering will.

Mr. Pham Tan Cong emphasized that when those qualities are connected with science, technology and innovation, they will create a synergistic strength, helping Vietnamese female entrepreneurs not only affirm their position domestically but also reach out to the region and the world.

The Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Forum 2025 is considered an important space for connection and dialogue between female entrepreneurs, policy makers and business support organizations, to discuss key issues in economic development and innovation.

At the forum, delegates focused on discussing the Government's policies to support businesses in developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation according to Resolution 57-NQ/TW; at the same time, sharing initiatives and solutions to accompany women-owned businesses, especially in the digital transformation journey, improving competitiveness and adaptability in the new context.

In addition, the forum also mentioned the development strategy of female enterprises associated with global trends in science - technology, innovation and sustainable development, as well as the role of female business leaders not only as administrators, but also as creators and leaders of change.

In addition to the official meetings, the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Forum 2025 is also a space for connecting, exchanging ideas and exploring potential cooperation opportunities between experts, businesses, policymakers and domestic and international organizations, creating a foundation for future strategic cooperation relationships.

With the spirit of openness, dialogue and companionship, the Forum hopes to inspire innovation, create sustainable connections between female entrepreneurs, business associations, management agencies and international organizations, thereby promoting practical actions for the Vietnamese female entrepreneur community to innovate, break through and affirm its position. The image of "Vietnamese female entrepreneurs - brave, intelligent, pioneering" is considered the consistent message of the event, reflecting the spirit and aspirations of female leaders in the era of integration and digital transformation.

Notably, at the Forum, 98 female entrepreneurs were awarded the title of “Outstanding Vietnamese Female Entrepreneurs – Golden Rose 2025”, recognizing their outstanding achievements in production and business as well as their positive contributions to the community and society. Among them, the 10 most outstanding female entrepreneurs were honored in the Top 10 Golden Roses 2025, representing the courage, intelligence and aspirations to reach regional and global levels of Vietnamese female entrepreneurs in the period of innovation and sustainable development.
