As an annual event, this year's Forum, themed "Women Entrepreneurs Reaching New Heights in the New Era," affirms the aspirations for innovation, creativity, and breakthroughs of Vietnamese women entrepreneurs as the country enters a new period of development, where science and technology, innovation, and international integration become key drivers for sustainable development.

Chairman of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Pham Tan Cong, delivered a speech.

In his opening remarks, VCCI President Pham Tan Cong stated that, in recent times, the Politburo has issued four resolutions considered institutional pillars, creating strong momentum to propel our country forward in the new era; among them Resolution 57-NQ/TW on the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, which is being strongly implemented at all levels and in the business community.

For the Vietnamese business community, especially women-owned businesses, this is a golden opportunity to break through, embrace scientific and technological trends, innovate, undergo digital transformation, enhance competitiveness, and assert their position in the global value chain.

According to the VCCI President, businesses owned by women currently account for nearly 25% of the total number of businesses nationwide – an impressive rate in the ASEAN region. He stated that female entrepreneurs not only make positive contributions to the national budget and create jobs for millions of workers, but also bring distinct values to business management and development: humanistic thinking, perseverance, a desire for innovation, and a pioneering spirit.

Mr. Pham Tan Cong emphasized that when these qualities are combined with science, technology, and innovation, they will create a synergistic force, helping Vietnamese female entrepreneurs not only assert their position domestically but also reach regional and global levels.
