On December 11th, in Hai Phong, the Department of Personnel Organization (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment) collaborated with the Vietnam Forestry University to organize a training conference on "Innovation in training, research and teaching for training institutions under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment ".
The conference attracted nearly 200 delegates, including leaders from institutes, colleges, universities, international cooperation organizations, and businesses.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Xuan An, Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, said that training is facing many new demands such as implementing important resolutions of the Central Committee, reorganizing the organizational structure, pressure on student recruitment, innovation in curriculum and teaching methods, while promoting digital transformation and improving the quality of human resources.
According to Mr. An, the conference is an opportunity for units to update methods, share experiences, and orient the implementation of tasks in the new context.

At the conference, many practical topics were presented. Professor Pham Van Dien, Rector of the University of Forestry, presented the topic "Developing a network of agricultural and forestry policy research: Linking training, research and policy in the context of climate change and international integration".
Associate Professor Dr. Truong Ngoc Kiem, Director of the High-Tech and Innovation Park - Vietnam National University, Hanoi , analyzed solutions for building an innovation ecosystem and research space in accordance with the requirements of the Central Committee's resolutions.
Dr. Doan Van Tuan, a lecturer at Hanoi National University, introduced innovative models for student recruitment and brand positioning for training institutions. Mr. Bach Hung Truong, representing the German International Cooperation Organization, shared experiences on collaboration between schools, businesses, and localities to enhance the practical relevance of training programs.
In the technology section, Mr. Tran Manh Ha from the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group presented digital transformation solutions in management and online training. Representing the Department of Digital Transformation, Mr. Dinh Huy Duc emphasized the role of artificial intelligence and digital databases in improving the efficiency of teaching, research, and management.
Following this conference, training institutions are urged to continue reviewing their annual plans, updating them according to new guidelines; promoting innovation in teaching methods; expanding cooperation with businesses and localities; accelerating digital transformation in governance; and implementing autonomy coupled with accountability. These directions aim to improve the quality of training and research capacity, meeting the requirements for developing high-quality human resources in the fields of agriculture and environment.
