Dong Nai invests over 2,600 billion VND in building inter-port roads, anticipating the Long Thanh airport project.

On September 27th, Dong Nai province officially commenced the first phase of the inter-port road project with a total investment of over 2.659 billion VND from the provincial budget. The 8.8km long road runs along the Dong Nai River, connecting the ports in the Nhon Trach area, bordering Ho Chi Minh City.

The project consists of two sections: section 1 is 6.9km long (8 lanes), section 2 is 1.9km long (4 lanes), and includes 5 bridges. It is expected to be completed in March 2028.

This project is strategically significant, supporting the urban development of Nhon Trach, connecting transportation and seaports, and anticipating the operation of Long Thanh Airport's first phase from 2026. It is also a step towards forming a chain of logistics and riverside industries, and developing a green and smart city.
