This is a program organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD), with the coordination of many ministries and branches. This year, the program recorded the participation of many businesses across the country, showing the attraction and increasing competitiveness of the CSI index.

The CSI 2025 system is upgraded with higher requirements on transparent governance, emission reduction, resource management and social responsibility, forming a comprehensive scale according to the four pillars of economy - environment - society - governance. This sets a more rigorous standard for businesses pursuing sustainable development.

Nutrition innovation to suit the needs of Vietnamese children

In the context of the dairy industry in Vietnam shifting strongly towards scientific nutrition and sustainable development, the company continues to affirm this orientation through an innovative product portfolio based on the actual needs of Vietnamese children.

To continue its 30-year journey with Vietnamese families, in 2025, Dutch Lady milk brand launched a new product with the message "Growing up strong every day". According to the National Nutrition Strategy 2020-2030, ensuring all children have access to adequate nutrition is a key goal.

However, the SEANUTS II survey conducted by FrieslandCampina in collaboration with the National Institute of Nutrition shows that malnutrition remains a challenge among Vietnamese children.

From there, the improved Dutch Lady product was developed to provide more essential micronutrients such as protein, calcium, vitamin D and vitamin C, contributing to building a healthy body, enhancing resistance, while having flavors and packaging that are carefully tailored to the needs of children and parents.

In the same innovation category, Dutch Lady launched a milk line that enhances the foundation for children's brain and physical development thanks to DHA, Omega 3-6, Choline and essential vitamins. Yomost has newly added B vitamins to promote energy production, encouraging children to move and explore every day. These innovations contribute to perfecting the nutritional ecosystem that FrieslandCampina Vietnam has built over the years.

Along with Dutch Lady, Friso Pro continues to be a representative of FrieslandCampina's pediatric nutritional science. Based on 150 years of Dutch research and the philosophy of "Every drop of Friso milk brings precious nutrients Friso Life-Force to children", Friso Pro applies Milk Lipid Complex (MLC) - a new step forward in milk fat research.

MLC helps nourish a healthy digestive system, increase nutrient absorption and limit common digestive problems. The product also contains HMO (2'-FL), GOS™ fiber, Bifidobacterium lactis HN019 probiotics and trace minerals such as selenium, choline, and vitamin D. Novas milk from Holstein-Friesian cows in the Netherlands and LockNutri technology help preserve the natural protein structure, making milk easy to digest and absorb, creating a solid foundation from within for children from the first years of life.

Strengthening green manufacturing throughout the supply chain

Not only focusing on nutrition, FrieslandCampina Vietnam also puts sustainable development at the heart of all production and supply chain activities. Factories run on green energy, combining solar power and 100% biomass energy, helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 98% in the period 2015-2025.

Water – a key resource in production – has also been significantly reduced, with a 25% reduction in water consumption per ton of product since 2018.

Waste management is also a major priority. The company has said no to landfill waste since 2019, and has used up to 5-year reusable materials instead of pallet wrapping film, significantly reducing plastic waste. As a co-founder of the Packaging Recycling Alliance Vietnam (PRO VN), the company currently has 91% of its packaging designed to be recyclable, contributing to promoting a circular economy and improving domestic recycling capacity.

These results show that sustainable development is not only a goal, but has become the way of operation of FrieslandCampina Vietnam. Continuing to be honored as a Sustainable Development Enterprise 2025 is therefore a recognition of the long-term strategy combining scientific nutrition, green production and commitment to nurturing future generations.
