Nearly 200 lecturers and students of Tan Trao University were trained in AI applications

From September 3 to 6, Tan Trao University in collaboration with the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines organized an international training conference with the theme "Application of artificial intelligence AI in teaching and learning English as a foreign language".

During the training, nearly 200 lecturers and students of Tan Trao University were shared by lecturers from the Southern Philippines University of Science and Technology with the following contents: Overview of AI applications in English learning; Application of online platforms and modern AI tools in practicing grammar, vocabulary, academic writing, pronunciation; how to exploit AI in lesson design, gamification (game-making lessons) and learner assessment; direct practice with AI tools to support reading comprehension, summarizing texts and writing reports...

The training conference is an opportunity for lecturers and students of Tan Trao University to approach new trends in applying AI in teaching and learning English. This is an important step to expand international cooperation between the school and foreign educational institutions. Thereby, contributing to improving the quality of training, meeting the requirements of educational innovation in the context of global integration and digital transformation.
