Over three days, from March 17th to 19th, in Dong Thinh and Phuc Khanh communes of Yen Lap district and Tu Hiep commune of Ha Hoa district, the Provincial Red Cross Society organized a program to distribute unconditional cash to beneficiary households and disseminate information on sanitation, clean water, and disease prevention during the disaster. This program is part of the project "Supporting the distribution of multi-purpose cash to people to overcome the consequences of Typhoon No. 3 (Typhoon Yagi ) and its aftermath," funded by a non-refundable grant from the Coca-Cola Foundation.
Representatives of the sponsors symbolically presented the project funds to the leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society.
The amount of money allocated to beneficiary households was calculated at three levels: VND 1,000,000/household; VND 2,000,000/household; and VND 3,000,000/household, aiming to support households affected by Typhoon No. 3 with additional funds to equip themselves with essential items for their lives after the storm. At the program, representatives of the sponsoring organization presented a symbolic check for VND 1.7 billion to the Provincial Red Cross Society and, together with the leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society and local leaders, distributed cash to nearly 600 households.

Also as part of the program, the Provincial Red Cross Society organized a communication campaign on clean water hygiene and disease prevention, and donated thousands of antibacterial soap bars to students of Ha Hoa High School, Yen Lap Ethnic Boarding Secondary and High School, and local people.
