Son La Provincial Police Director Nguyen Ngoc Van becomes Commander of Mobile Police

On the morning of November 2, Major General Nguyen Ngoc Lam, Deputy Minister of Public Security, chaired the ceremony to announce the decision on personnel work at the Mobile Police Command.

At the ceremony, Major General Pham Quang Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security on transferring Major General Nguyen Ngoc Van, Director of Son La Provincial Police, to take up the position of Commander of the Mobile Police from November 6.

On behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ngoc Lam presented the decision and flowers to congratulate Major General Nguyen Ngoc Van on being entrusted with the new responsibility.

Major General Nguyen Ngoc Van was born in 1976, from Phu Tho. He has a PhD in Law, People's Police University, majoring in Investigation Police, and a senior degree in Political Theory.

During his career, Major General Nguyen Ngoc Van held positions such as deputy head of department, head of department, district police chief, and Deputy Director of Phu Tho Provincial Police.

From November 2019 to October 2024, he was transferred and appointed to the position of Director of Son La Provincial Police.
