Coordinate gift giving to support the poor in the district.

According to Mr. Tran Thanh Tung, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of District 10, responding to the emulation movement "Joining hands for the poor - leaving no one behind", the work of mobilizing, caring for and helping the poor and people in difficult circumstances has been focused on and effectively implemented by the Fatherland Front at all levels and member organizations in the district. Through implementation, there have been many good models and practices, while at the same time innovating the method of mobilizing, organizing dialogues with poor households to understand their circumstances, mobilizing the poor to change their mindset of waiting and relying on others to be determined to rise up and escape poverty.

“The Front has coordinated with member organizations to support capital and business means for poor households to escape poverty sustainably… Thanks to that, it has contributed to reducing the rate of poor and near-poor households in the area. District 10 has been recognized as having no more poor households, and there are currently only 104 near-poor households,” Mr. Tung informed.
