At the reception, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang congratulated Mr. Ito Naoki on officially starting his term of office in Vietnam. He emphasized that the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Japan is a model of comprehensive strategic partnership with high political trust, practicality, sincerity and efficiency.

He also highly appreciated the active and effective cooperation in strategic priority areas, in line with the development trends of the two countries, the region and the world such as: training and fostering of cadres, high-quality human resources, digital transformation, semiconductor industry, clean energy model, etc.

Over the years, the Embassy of Japan and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics have collaborated in many diplomatic commemorative activities, scientific research, training and policy consultation.

The Embassy of Japan has supported the organization of activities within the framework of projects to enhance the Academy's capacity in training leaders and civil servants, training and fostering leaders and managers at all levels; coordinated with the Academy to organize scientific seminars on the occasion of the 45th and 50th anniversaries of the establishment of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations...
