Accordingly, to develop more night tours , the Hanoi Department of Tourism will conduct a survey on the current status and development potential of night tourism products in a number of districts, towns and cities in the city, ensuring that the products must have the characteristics of each locality.
From the first quarter of 2024, the Hanoi Department of Tourism will conduct a survey of 5 areas. Area 1: Hoan Kiem and West Lake districts, belonging to the city's central tourist cluster and Long Bien district, Gia Lam district. Area 2 includes: Districts: Nam Tu Liem, Bac Tu Liem, Phuc Tho, Hoai Duc, Dan Phuong.
Area 3: Soc Son, Me Linh, Dong Anh districts (in the North of the city), Area 4: Districts and towns: Quoc Oai, Thach That, Son Tay, Ba Vi (in the West of the city). Area 5: My Duc, Ung Hoa, Phu Xuyen districts (in the South of the city).
After completing the survey, the Department of Tourism will gradually develop a plan to develop suitable night tourism products. Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism Dang Huong Giang said that currently, the city has 16 night tourism products, contributing to enriching Hanoi's tourism products.
To diversify the capital's tourism products, the Department of Tourism proposes that in the coming time, there will be a number of additional night tourism products at many destinations, specifically in the suburban areas, a model of cultural and artistic performances, shopping, night entertainment, introducing culinary culture, and night food services will be built in Dong Xuan commune (Quoc Oai), and Van Dinh Culinary Culture point at the incense production village of Quang Phu Cau commune (Ung Hoa).
In the inner city area, the largest night flower wholesale market in the North will be located in Quang An, Tay Ho district; a point to introduce and display products to serve tourists and develop Hanoi's night economy will be located in My Dinh National Sports Complex, Nam Tu Liem district.
“Hanoi tourism organizes 4 more night tourism spots to implement the Project “Some models for developing night tourism products” issued by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and at the same time forms a separate night entertainment complex in Hanoi, thereby attracting tourists to the capital,” Ms. Giang emphasized.
