Hai Duong transfers 12 medical centers to district-level People's Committees for management before July 1

The Department of Health and the District People's Committee, together with other departments and branches, coordinate to hand over the number of civil servants, employees, finances, assets, facilities, land, etc. of the units.

The Department of Home Affairs of Hai Duong province will coordinate to develop a project to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration, ensuring the transfer of all 12 district-level medical centers in the province currently under the Department of Health in the direction of the original status of facilities, staffing, functions and tasks to the District People's Committee for management before July 1.

The transfer aims to continue to innovate the organization and management system, improve the quality and efficiency of operations of public service units and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of state management, perfect the planning of the network of public service units, ensuring streamlining and rationality.

At the same time, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province requested to reorganize commune-level health stations, ensuring that each administrative unit has only one health station. The Provincial People's Committee assigned the District People's Committee to direct the specialized department to develop a project and decide to merge commune-level health stations to ensure regulations.

Completion time in the second quarter of 2025.
