Teacher and her child died after collision with truck

(NLDO) - A mother and her child teacher in Ha Tinh tragically died after their motorbike collided with a truck.

On March 14, news from the People's Committee of Son Trung commune, Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province, said that a traffic accident had just occurred in this commune, killing two people.

The victims were identified as teacher NTT (born in 1975) and her son T.D.T (born in 1999, both residing in Pho Chau town, Huong Son district).

Ms. T. is currently working at Hai Thuong Lan Ong Secondary School.

Previously, at around 6:30 this morning, a truck with license plate 38C - 165.xx was traveling on Ho Chi Minh road in the North-South direction. When reaching Km773+400 in Son Trung commune, it collided with a motorbike with license plate 38AS - 039.xx driven by teacher T. and her daughter in the same direction.

The strong collision caused the truck to overturn and the motorbike to crash into the guardrail.

As a result, Ms. T. fell on the street and died on the spot; her son died after being taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.

Immediately after receiving the news, the authorities quickly arrived at the scene to direct traffic and investigate the cause of the accident.

At the scene, the truck overturned, many goods on the truck spilled in the middle of the road causing traffic jam; the motorbike was badly damaged.
