On the morning of June 21st, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Union, the Ministry of Education and Training , in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Student Union and the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center, organized the launching ceremony for the 2025 Exam Support Campaign. The program attracted over 23,000 student volunteers who registered to participate and carry out online and in-person activities. During the exam days, 3,000 student volunteers will be stationed at exam sites and key transportation hubs to provide direct support to candidates and their families, and to coordinate with relevant authorities to ensure the program's successful implementation.
One of the highlights of this year's campaign is the "AI-Supported Exams" activity, launched in February 2025, aimed at strengthening digital transformation and promoting the role of participating units. Information technology and digital platforms are applied to select and interview student volunteers, as well as to effectively disseminate information and provide advice to candidates and their families. Particularly noteworthy is the application of AI in psychological counseling and career guidance using a questionnaire from three test models: MBTI, Holland (RIASEC), and DISC. On the same day in Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Provincial Youth Union organized the launching ceremony of the Provincial Exam Support Program, officially kicking off the peak week of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam Support Program with the enthusiastic spirit and high determination of more than 250 volunteer soldiers from universities, colleges, and affiliated units. At the program, meaningful gifts such as 100 boxes of water and 500 pens were handed out to provide timely support to the exam candidates.
To provide the best possible support for exam candidates, the Bao Loc City Youth Union in Lam Dong province has deployed 7 volunteer youth teams to participate in exam support activities. Each volunteer team mobilizes 25 to 30 union members and young people from various Youth Union branches in the city.
At the examination sites, volunteer teams were tasked with advising and assisting candidates and their families in finding affordable accommodation; locating places to eat; organizing free transportation for disadvantaged and disabled candidates. They also coordinated with security forces to ensure order and traffic safety at the examination sites; and disseminated information on environmental hygiene and fire prevention to candidates and parents.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Trang Anh Thu, Deputy Secretary and Head of the Provincial Youth Union's Inspection Committee, and President of the Vietnam Student Association of Bac Lieu province, emphasized: “The ‘Supporting the Exam Season’ program is one of the five key activities of the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign launched by the Central Youth Union. This is one of the activities with profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the spirit of volunteerism with five requirements: widespread, leading, effective, practical, and sustainable. The ‘Supporting the Exam Season’ program not only provides material support but also motivates and helps candidates confidently and steadily enter this important exam.”
According to the plan, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union and the Secretariat of the Vietnam Student Association of Bac Lieu Province will establish 17 volunteer youth teams throughout Bac Lieu province, comprising over 380 union members, young people, students, and young soldiers, to provide support at examination sites. These teams will provide exam information, recommend affordable accommodation and meals, assist with transportation for disadvantaged candidates, distribute free drinking water, and regulate traffic in the examination areas. Simultaneously, the Bac Lieu Provincial Youth Union will establish a mobile team stationed at its headquarters, ready to assist with any unforeseen situations throughout the examination period.

The program is implemented in three phases: Before the exam (before June 25th), the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with the Secretariat of the Vietnam Student Association of the province, will broadcast live psychological and health counseling for the exam season on the Provincial Youth Union and Student Association's Information Portal Fanpage; during the exam (June 25-28), support will be provided for organizing the exam and implementing support activities at the exam sites; after the exam, resources will be mobilized to award scholarships under the "Supporting Students to School" and "Exam Season Resilience" programs for new students and students from disadvantaged backgrounds; and a "Welcome New Students" program will be organized at universities and colleges.
The Bac Lieu Youth Union branches have mobilized businesses and philanthropists to provide over 30 million VND worth of in-kind donations, including rice, cakes, drinks, raincoats, and school supplies, to support candidates at the examination sites.

Having been students facing the high school graduation exam himself, Mr. Ma Duc Hoa - Deputy Team Leader of the Bac Lieu City Youth Volunteer Team - shared his understanding of the anxieties and pressures that students are experiencing.
"As volunteers in the 'Exam Support Team' of Bac Lieu province in 2025, with the spirit of sharing, empathy, and youthful enthusiasm, we will do our best to accompany the candidates so that they can feel secure, confident, and achieve the best results in this important exam," Mr. Hoa said.
