Tens of thousands of young volunteers join the "Supporting Exam Season" campaign in 2025

(PLVN) - In order to promptly support candidates participating in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, many localities have simultaneously launched the "Supporting Exam Season" campaign, with the participation of tens of thousands of young volunteers.

On the morning of June 21, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association, the Ministry of Education and Training , in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Student Association and the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center, organized the launching ceremony of the 2025 Exam Support Program. The program attracted more than 23,000 volunteer students to register and participate in online and in-person activities. During the exam days, 3,000 volunteer students will be on duty at exam sites and important traffic points to directly support candidates and their families and coordinate with relevant authorities to ensure the success of the program.

One of the highlights of this year's campaign is the "AI exam support" activity, which has been deployed since February 2025, to enhance digital transformation and promote the role of participating units. Information technology and digital platforms are applied to select and interview volunteer students, as well as effectively promote and advise candidates and their families. Notably, AI is applied in psychological counseling and career orientation with a set of questions from 3 multiple-choice models: MBTI, Holland (RIASEC) and DISC. This activity has attracted more than 10,000 students to access and interact, asking questions with the AI ​​tool...

On the same day in Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Provincial Youth Union organized the Launching Ceremony of the Provincial Exam Support Program, officially starting the peak week of Exam Support for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam with the enthusiastic atmosphere and high determination of more than 250 volunteers from universities, colleges and affiliated units. At the program, meaningful gifts such as 100 water bottles and 500 pens were handed out to provide timely support to the candidates.

To provide the best conditions for candidates, Bao Loc City Youth Union, Lam Dong province has deployed 7 youth volunteer teams to support the exam season. Each volunteer team mobilizes from 25 to 30 union members and youth from Youth Union bases in the city.

At the examination sites, volunteer teams are assigned to advise and support candidates and their families in finding cheap accommodation; finding places to eat; organizing “zero-dong” buses to support candidates in difficult circumstances and candidates with disabilities. At the same time, they coordinate with forces to ensure security, order and traffic safety at the examination sites; and disseminate information on environmental sanitation and fire prevention to candidates and their parents.

In Bac Lieu province, on June 21, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Secretariat of the Vietnam Student Association of the province held a ceremony to receive the "Supporting the exam season" program for the 2025 high school graduation exam. The activity aims to support candidates and their families, contributing to ensuring the exam takes place safely, smoothly and effectively.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Trang Anh Thu - Deputy Secretary, Head of the Provincial Youth Union Inspection Committee, President of the Vietnam Student Association of Bac Lieu province, emphasized: "Supporting the exam season" is one of the five key activities of the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign launched by the Central Youth Union. This is one of the activities with profound humanity, demonstrating the spirit of volunteering with 5 requirements: widespread, leading, effective, practical and sustainable. The program "Supporting the exam season" not only provides material support, the program also adds motivation, helping candidates confidently and firmly enter the important exam.

According to the plan, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Provincial Vietnam Student Association Secretariat were established throughout Bac Lieu province with 17 volunteer youth teams with more than 380 union members, youth, students and young soldiers participating in supporting at the examination sites. The teams will provide information on the exam, introduce cheap accommodation and meals, support the transportation of candidates in difficult circumstances, provide free drinking water and regulate traffic in the examination area. At the same time, Bac Lieu Provincial Youth Union established a mobile team on duty at the headquarters, ready to support any situations that may arise during the examination period.

The program is implemented in 3 phases: Before the exam (before June 25), the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee coordinates with the Provincial Vietnam Student Association Secretariat to organize live broadcasts of psychological and health counseling during the exam season on the Fanpage of the Provincial Youth Union and Provincial Student Association; during the exam (June 25-28), support the organization of the exam and implement support activities at the exam sites; after the exam, mobilize resources to award scholarships "Support to school", "Willpower for exam season" to new students and students in difficult circumstances; organize the program "Welcome new students" at universities and colleges.

Bac Lieu Youth Union at all levels has mobilized businesses and benefactors to support more than 30 million VND in kind, including rice, cakes, drinking water, raincoats, school supplies, etc. to serve candidates at the exam sites.

Thanh My Trading and Service Company Limited presented a symbolic plaque of 30 million VND to the Standing Committee of Bac Lieu Provincial Youth Union to support the high school graduation exam season in the province in 2025.

As a former student facing the high school graduation exam, Mr. Ma Duc Hoa - Deputy Head of the Bac Lieu City Youth Volunteer Team shared his understanding of the worries and pressures that the candidates are experiencing.

"As volunteers in the "Exam Support Team" of Bac Lieu province in 2025, with the spirit of sharing, empathy and enthusiasm of youth, we will do our best to accompany the candidates so that they can feel secure, confident and achieve the best results in this important exam," said Mr. Hoa.
