Both schools in the Lomonosov My Dinh education system sent text messages to parents informing them that they would provide dinner for students and take care of students overnight to ensure safety in the situation of heavy rain and flooding in many streets and roads in Hanoi.

Accordingly, Lomonosov Primary School still has 50 students who have not been picked up by their parents. The middle school and high school have about 60 students stuck. The school said that they have gathered the children and given them a light meal. If by 7 p.m. the students are still not picked up, the school will provide dinner and let the children sleep overnight at the school. The school board has assigned leaders and teachers to support parents to ensure the safety of their children.

Similarly, Nguyen Tat Thanh School gathered students who were stranded at the school library. The school announced that it would organize meals and rest to ensure the health of students, teachers, and staff who could not return home.

The school has planned to arrange dormitories for female and male students in two separate areas, with teachers assigned to manage them. Students will also be given personal hygiene items such as towels and toothbrushes, and the school will take care of their breakfast tomorrow.

Hanoi Star School and Marie Curie School both issued similar announcements. Parents at Marie Curie School received a message from the principal stating that all students stranded at the school would receive free dinner. The school's kitchen, teachers, and supervisory staff would arrange meals and accommodation for the children.
