At the joint training session, the parade forces in the three areas above did not practice according to the ceremony's script, but only followed the content of the training results from the past period such as: marching in unison, marching at attention, hitting the face, hitting the hands...
The total number of soldiers trained in the 3 areas is 7,413; at the National Military Training Center, the 4 forces trained together have 7 female groups including: military music, military medicine, peacekeeping , commando soldiers, information soldiers, ethnic militia, and southern guerrillas.
This is the first joint training session after more than 1,600 officers and soldiers from the South came to Hanoi to carry out mission A80 on June 6.
Previously, the working group of the General Department of Logistics and Technology (Ministry of National Defense) inspected the technical assurance work for the implementation of task A80. Through the inspection, most units have thoroughly grasped the instructions and guidance plans of superiors; proactively coordinated and cooperated closely with relevant agencies and units, ensuring good organization of the gathering place for vehicles and technical equipment in the right place, safely.
The units also did a good job of managing, preserving, and maintaining weapons, equipment, and military supplies in preparation for practicing and performing parades and marches.
