Journey to Lotus Village 2024: Special award to honor journalists

Among the more than 3,000 athletes competing in " Journey to Lotus Village 2024 ", dozens of journalists, reporters, editors... are expected to attend. To encourage and motivate journalists, reporters, editors... The Organizing Committee of "Journey to Lotus Village 2024" decided to award valuable prizes to athletes with high achievements in the journalism system, which is also a gift of gratitude to the media, towards the 99th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2024).

Attractive prizes for journalism system

Specifically, the first-place winner in the 5km journalism category will receive a total of 1 million VND for both men and women, the first-place winner in the 10km category will receive 1.7 million VND, the first-place winner in the 21km category will receive 1.9 million VND, and the first-place winner in the 42km category will receive 2.7 million VND.

To participate in the tournament and compete for the above prizes, journalists, reporters, editors... need to send a photo of their Press card and email to the Organizing Committee to register.

"Journey to Lotus Village 2024" has a total prize value of more than 500 million VND. The prize structure will include distances of 5 km, 10 km, 21 km, 42 km. For distances of 21 km and 42 km, it will be calculated according to the selection system and the amateur system.

In addition, the award structure also includes awards such as: Impressive costume award, best performing club award, family award and children's group award...

Regarding the prize structure, the first-place finisher in the 42km category (male and female) will receive a cash prize of VND8 million plus VND6 million in kind. The second-place finisher will receive VND5 million in cash, VND4 million in kind, the third-place finisher will receive VND4 million in cash, VND3 million in kind, etc.

With the distance of 42 km for amateur athletes, athletes (male and female) receive the same reward as for the professional athletes. This is a remarkable encouragement for amateur athletes at this year's tournament.

In the 21km distance, the first-placed athlete receives 6 million VND in cash and 5 million VND in kind. This is also the reward for the first-placed athletes in the amateur category. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded first, second, third, fourth and fifth prizes for the 21km, 10km, 5km distances of the professional and amateur categories.
