Hezbollah fired 250 rockets and artillery shells into Israel

Hezbollah's attack on Israel left seven people injured, one of the group's fiercest in months in response to an Israeli attack on Beirut.

The incident comes as EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell called for an " immediate ceasefire" in the war between Israel and Hezbollah.

On October 24, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out a raid with about 50 rockets launched from southern Lebanon, towards the Galilee region in northern Israel.

Initial reports said at least four people were injured when a Hezbollah rocket hit a residential area in Nahariya. Earlier, Hezbollah launched about 30 rockets at the Safed area, but caused no casualties.

Meanwhile, some regional sources said that Hezbollah missiles or drones hit residential areas in central Israel and caused a large fire.

Meanwhile, on the Lebanese battlefield, Hebollah announced that it had eliminated 70 Israeli soldiers, destroyed 28 Merkava tanks and shot down four modern drones of the Israeli army, since the IDF began its infantry attack campaign in Southern Lebanon on the night of September 30.

On November 19, Ali Hassan Khalil, assistant to Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, added that the country sent a written response to the US ambassador to Lebanon regarding the proposals. White House Special Envoy Amos Hochstein is on his way to Beirut to continue the negotiations.

Israel has not commented on the information. Meanwhile, the armed group Hezbollah, a long-time supporter of Mr. Berri, has been negotiating a ceasefire, the biggest negotiation effort to end the fighting to date.

UN Security Council Resolution 1701 ended the war between Hezbollah and Israel in 2006. The terms of the resolution required Hezbollah to have no armed presence in the area between the Lebanon-Israel border and the Litani River, which flows about 30 km north of the border.
