Principal advises "new recruits" not to let AI control them

(Dan Tri) - At the master's and bachelor's graduation ceremony on August 3, the Principal of the School of Business Administration (Hanoi National University) advised students not to let AI control them and not to indulge in boring games.

The graduation ceremony had 218 new graduates majoring in: Management of Enterprise and Technology (MET), Management and Security (MAS), Human Resources and Talent Management (HAT), and Marketing and Communications (MAC). Of which, 2 students graduated with distinction and 55 students with distinction.

According to the school’s survey, up to now, most students have jobs before receiving their diplomas. Many students have been recruited into large enterprises and corporations.

Sending a message to new graduates, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Dinh Phi, Principal of the school, advised them to accept reality when graduating.

"I advise you not to get absorbed in boring games; do not let the internet, AI, and social networks control you and make you dependent on them. You should study hard and work hard to help yourself, your family, the poor, and society," said the school principal.

According to Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Dinh Phi, in addition to proficiently using soft skills, students should know how to combine knowledge and skills, plus intelligence to have overall strength.

In 10 years, he predicts that about 80% of the new graduates sitting here could be executives, CEOs or presidents of large and small businesses. They could also work in the public administration sector, become scientists or civil servants, etc.

But he believes that no matter what you do in the future, you may have to start by opening the door, pouring water and making tea. You may meet many types of people, but you should not complain, but be grateful for meeting such people, so that in the long run you can have a stable job.

"Today I speak here, but maybe yesterday I wore a conical hat to the construction site, my left hand was bleeding, my right hand held a hoe, that's normal. Don't think that people at the pinnacle of glory, as professors or associate professors, don't know how to work, don't know how to share with the poor, with those in difficulty.

Nothing is difficult, we just have to be a little lazy every day. So you guys should accept that any job in a business, big or small, if done responsibly, to learn, after a while you will reach higher positions.

Each of us here stands on the front of study, on the front of labor, on the front of fighting to protect, to protect ourselves, to protect our ancestors and at the same time to protect the country," said the school principal.

The School of Business Administration is a member unit of Hanoi National University. In 2025, the school will enroll 7 regular training majors.

At the graduation ceremony on August 3, the school awarded master's degrees to 38 students, including 1 international student (student from China, studying the HSB - MBA program).

The other new masters come from three of HSB's key programs: Management of Non-Traditional Security (MNS), Management of Business (HSB-MBA) and Management of Technology and Entrepreneurship (MOTE).

Among them, 6 students were honored as “Outstanding Students” – a worthy recognition for their excellent academic achievements, innovative thinking and positive contributions to the community.
