Miss Universe India 2024 attends the opening of the Da Nang – Ahmedabad flight route

On the afternoon of October 23 at Da Nang International Airport, the People's Committee of Da Nang City, the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, Vietjet Air, the Central Airport Authority, Da Nang International Airport, and Da Nang International Terminal Operation Joint Stock Company held the opening ceremony of the Da Nang - Ahmedabad (India) flight route.

The ceremony was attended by Miss Universe India 2024 Rhea Singha.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of Da Nang City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi said that in the first 9 months of 2024, the city's tourism industry achieved impressive results with 8.67 million overnight guests, of which international visitors reached more than 3.17 million. In particular, the Indian market reached 139,086 arrivals, an increase of 4.2% over the same period in 2023, in the context of no direct flights from major cities in India to Da Nang.

Tourism products, tourism services and service quality of Da Nang in particular and the Central region in general are very suitable for the tastes of Indian tourists. With beautiful beaches, high-class resorts as well as increasingly complete and attractive tourism products such as golf tourism, mice tourism, wedding tourism, cuisine and culture, in recent years, Indian tourists have gradually known the coastal city of Da Nang as a "paradise" for high-class travel and a wedding venue for Indian billionaires.

In the past time, the city has received and provided information support for 20/91 Indian MICE tourist groups, attracting 04 large weddings of Indian couples with more than 1,200 guests.

The Da Nang – Ahmedabad flight route was launched to meet the increasing travel demand between the two countries and open up new opportunities for cooperation in the fields of economics, education, culture and technology...

Information from the Da Nang Department of Tourism also said that on the occasion of the opening of the Da Nang - Ahmedabad route, the city's Department of Tourism and Vietjet Air invited Miss Universe India 2024 - Rhea Singha and KOLs Ekta Sandhir to relax, experience and make videos and photo sets to promote Da Nang tourist destinations.

A famtrip delegation of 20 travel companies and 19 press reporters from India also came to survey Da Nang tourism, conduct interviews and write in-depth articles promoting Da Nang tourism destinations.
