ICOMMA 2025 was attended by about 200 scientists submitting papers and presentations.

The event attracted the participation of about 200 scientists, experts, and lecturers from home and abroad who submitted papers and presented.

In particular, the presence and sharing of international scientists from Germany, Korea, etc. are of great significance in connecting global knowledge, contributing to research orientations for the development of Mechanics 4.0 in Vietnam - when modern mechanics is not only a technical foundation but also the center of technological innovation and artificial intelligence.

The conference program includes many in-depth reporting sessions, reflecting the advances in modern mechanics and applications. Accordingly, there are 4 reports in 2 plenary sessions and more than 70 reports in 12 parallel sub-committee sessions.

The presence of international scientists brings new research directions

Key topics discussed include Biological Systems; Damage, Fracture, and Failure; Flow Problems; Multiscale Multiphysics Problems; Composites and Hybrid Structures; Optimization and Inverse Problems; Lightweight Structures; Mechatronics; Mechanical and Automotive Engineering; Numerical Methods and Intelligent Computing; Emerging Technology for IR4.0.

At the working sessions, the speakers introduced research with academic depth and potential for practical application. These include A Variational Approach to Effective Models for Inelastic Materials and Systems; From FlyCams to FlyRobots: Mechanics and Control Perspectives; Polymer Nanocomposite Films and Colorimetric Membranes for Sustainable Smart Food Packaging; Numerical Study of Complex Fluid Flows Using Grid-Based and Particle-Based Methods; etc.

The presentations focused on the mechanical trend 4.0

Several other presentations also focused on contemporary trends such as clean and sustainable energy, smart urban transportation, robotics and aerospace manufacturing, methods for improving performance and reducing production costs, etc.

For example, the paper Evaluation of mechanical properties of metal 3D-printed parts studies the impact of annealing on the mechanical properties of H13 tool steel parts to clarify the potential of metal 3D printing in mass industrial production.

Or the paper Some investigation on damage behavior of concrete based on complex simulations numerically simulates the compressive strength of concrete and compares it with experimental data to evaluate the accuracy and better understand the bearing mechanism of concrete. Thereby, proposing a formula that can be applied to practical techniques, contributing to the development of sustainable concrete materials.

ICOMMA 2025 creates an international academic forum for the exchange of practice-relevant research

It is known that the manuscripts of ICOMMA 2025 are peer-reviewed and selected for publication in the Proceedings with ISBN. The selected high-quality manuscripts will be published in special publications of prestigious domestic and foreign journals.

In its role as the host, HUTECH affirms its strategic goal of promoting science and technology linked to practice and industrial innovation needs, contributing to the country's sustainable development.
