"I am currently studying at Bac Ninh University of Sports. I study in the morning, and in the afternoon I go to the training ground with U22 Vietnam at the SEA Games. Thanh Nhan and Xuan Bac are also studying at the University with me. I think a university degree is very important for every player. After graduating from university, I can apply for a job, for example, to be a sports coach," said striker Nguyen Le Phat.

Le Phat is the youngest player of U22 Vietnam, at the age of 18. Although he is still very young, he has been a regular player for Ninh Binh Club many times. This is the first time the striker born in 2007 has participated in the SEA Games . He said he was very happy but also nervous when his name was on the list to participate in the SEA Games.

Talking about the preparation of U22 Vietnam before the match against U22 Malaysia, Le Phat expressed his determination: "The goal of U22 Vietnam is to win against U22 Malaysia. In the recent training sessions, coach Kim Sang Sik reminded the U22 Vietnam players to always try hard, be confident, play together, and take advantage of the opportunities they have.

I am a young player participating in the SEA Games for the first time, so I try to practice and learn from my seniors so that Coach Kim Sang Sik will trust me and give me the opportunity to play. The opponent U22 Malaysia is quite strong, and we are always ready to adapt to any opportunity on the field. I am always advised to try to learn from my seniors and do my best in training sessions."
