Thai Nguyen Farmers' Association launches high-profile campaign 'Popular AI learning'

Over 200 cadres and farmer members were educated on the application of science and technology and popularized AI.

At the conference, delegates were informed of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation; Resolution No. 11 of the Provincial Party Committee on tea industry development in the 2025-2030 period; and at the same time grasped the key contents in the plan to implement the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in 2025.

The highlight of the conference was the Provincial Farmers’ Association launching a peak campaign of “Popular AI Learning” across the province. The movement aims to build a force of farmers with knowledge, skills and digital thinking, ready to adapt to the technology era.

The Provincial Farmers' Association aims to have at least 80% of working-age members participating by 2025 and 50% of workers mastering basic AI skills.

According to the plan, in April 2025, training courses on artificial intelligence (AI) will be deployed simultaneously from the provincial and district levels to branches in communes, wards and towns.

The goal is that 100% of branches will organize training or propaganda classes on AI for members; at least 80% of members of working age will participate, and 50% of workers will have basic AI skills.

The implementation of the “People learn AI” movement not only helps Thai Nguyen farmers catch up with technological trends, but also contributes to realizing the goal of developing digital capacity in the period of 2024-2025. This is the foundation for building a team of association officials and farmer members who can flexibly adapt to digital transformation in agriculture and rural areas, affirming the pioneering role of the Farmers' Association in the journey of innovation and sustainable development.
