The Cao Lan Ethnic Culture and Arts Club (Ha Thuong commune, Dai Tu district, Thai Nguyen province) will serve as a bridge between the past and the future, between traditional values and modern life. The club is not only a place for preserving and practicing culture but also a venue for people to interact, connect, and promote tourism activities for ethnic minorities and mountainous communities in Thai Nguyen province.

Life is becoming increasingly civilized and modern. In the whirlwind of development, many traditional cultural values are at risk of fading away or being forgotten. But "Culture is the soul of the nation; as long as culture exists, the nation exists"—a statement by the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong—is a reminder that we must, at all costs, preserve the cultural identity of our nation.

At the launch event of the Cao Lan Ethnic Culture and Arts Club, delegates enjoyed the Sình Ca folk songs and Tắc Xình dances, and participated in cultural exchange activities and many fun games. Cao Lan folk songs, also known as Sình Ca, and Tắc Xình dances are unique folk performing arts of the Cao Lan ethnic group, recognized as National Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2012 and 2014, respectively.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam, head of the Cao Lan Club in Phu Thinh commune, said that the Tac Sinh dance recreates the beauty of the cultural life and labor of the Cao Lan ethnic group. Although the movements are simple, they still have their own unique characteristics, without being mixed or blended with other styles.

Since 2014, Ha Thuong commune has been collecting, restoring, and building a cultural exhibition corner for the Cao Lan ethnic group at the Suoi Cat hamlet cultural house (Ha Thuong).

The exhibition corner has preserved over 20 artifacts related to the material and spiritual life of the Cao Lan ethnic group, such as tools for labor and production, daily necessities, traditional costumes, and maps of Cao Lan settlements. This contributes significantly to helping the younger generation, the surrounding community, and tourists better understand the cultural values of the Cao Lan people, the cultural essence cultivated over thousands of years.

The launch of the Club is not just the beginning, but an important step in the journey of preserving culture, fostering community cohesion, and achieving the goal of developing community tourism, promoting ethnic minority and mountainous tourism in Thai Nguyen province. The aim is for the songs and dances of the Cao Lan people to resonate not only during festivals but also as familiar melodies in daily life, spreading the unique cultural values of the Cao Lan people to the public and tourists.
