On the afternoon of August 10, Nho Quan district coordinated with the Department of Science and Technology, the European - American Center for Research and Technology Transfer to organize a workshop to seek opinions on perfecting the management organization model, management toolkit and control the use of the "Cuc Phuong Golden Camellia" certification mark.
Cuc Phuong Golden Flower Tea is a rare medicinal plant with many active ingredients that have health-protecting effects. Research projects have analyzed the ingredients of Golden Flower Tea to help treat blood fat, cure cancer, stabilize blood pressure, treat diabetes, and effectively fight oxidation and aging.
In addition, the soil and climate in Nho Quan mountain area are also suitable for Cuc Phuong yellow camellia to grow well. According to statistics, currently in Nho Quan district there are about 20 hectares of yellow camellia grown, concentrated in some communes such as Gia Lam, Thach Binh, Cuc Phuong.
In addition, this rare medicinal herb also brings economic value many times higher than other crops, contributing to creating more jobs, increasing income and improving the lives of local people.
In order to continue to increase the economic value and develop a sustainable market for this crop, Nho Quan district is coordinating to urgently build the "Cuc Phuong Golden Camellia" certification label.
At the workshop, delegates, businesses, households, and individuals involved in growing and trading golden flower tea products discussed the provisions of the Regulations on the Management and Use of the "Cuc Phuong Golden Flower Tea" certification mark, focusing on clarifying the purpose and significance of establishing the certification mark, and the rights and responsibilities of organizations and individuals participating in the certification mark.
Completing the registration dossier for the certification mark; perfecting the organizational and management model; and developing a set of tools for managing and controlling the use of the "Cuc Phuong Golden Flower Tea" certification mark will contribute to ensuring quality, maintaining, and developing the product brand. This will create favorable conditions for organizations and individuals to sustainably cultivate and develop products from the golden flower tea plant, generating income and improving the lives of the people.
