What do delegates expect from the question and answer session?
National Assembly delegate Pham Van Hoa (Dong Thap delegation) said he wanted to question the Governor of the State Bank about the issue of gold price management.
According to Mr. Hoa, voters have recently reported that some banks are allowed to sell SJC gold bars to people but do not buy them. This has led to people taking gold purchased from banks to other stores and not being able to sell it.
"This is very inappropriate and needs to be resolved thoroughly," said delegate Hoa, adding why is it only sold in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, but not in the provinces? How long will it take to sell like this?
National Assembly delegate Hoang Van Cuong (Hanoi delegation) said that practical problems such as banks having money but businesses still having difficulty accessing capital; patients needing medicine, hospitals having money but not being able to buy medicine... are things that people are concerned about.
"Therefore, industry commanders need to have answers, what is the responsibility of industry commanders, what are the institutional problems that need to be resolved," said delegate Hoang Van Cuong.
Meanwhile, delegate Tran Quoc Tuan (Tra Vinh delegation) also expressed his wish that in the field of information and communication, Minister of Information and Communication Nguyen Manh Hung needs to have a strong commitment to preventing fake information and misinformation on social networks today.
According to delegate Tran Quoc Tuan, these contents have negative impacts on the psychology of people in society.
