More than 1.4 billion trees planted in the period 2021-2025
Implementing Decision No. 524/QD-TTg dated April 1, 2021 of the Prime Minister approving the Project "Planting one billion trees in the period of 2021-2025", over the past 5 years, ministries, branches, localities, organizations and individuals in the whole society have actively organized and implemented. After 5 years, the whole country has planted more than 1.4 billion trees, reaching 143.9% of the goals and tasks of the Project. Of which, scattered tree planting: 573.9 million trees; planting trees in concentrated forests: 865.2 million trees, equivalent to 429,125 hectares of forest.
