Over 300 businesses and household businesses in Lam Dong province inquired about insurance policies.

On the morning of December 11th, the Lam Dong Provincial Social Insurance Agency organized a conference to disseminate information about participation in social insurance, health insurance, and accident insurance (BHXH, BHYT, BHTN) to over 300 businesses and business households.

Over 300 businesses, organizations, and household businesses participated in the conference.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Director of the Social Insurance Department of Lam Dong province, affirmed that social insurance and health insurance policies for workers are pillars of social security; he also committed that the social insurance sector will accelerate administrative procedure reforms, improve service quality, listen to and satisfactorily resolve difficulties faced by businesses, household business owners, and workers.

Currently, many related policies have been implemented, and new regulations will be disseminated so that units and businesses are fully aware of them.

The conference disseminated regulations on labor, wages, labor contracts, responsibilities in concluding labor contracts, and regulations on the subjects and levels of contributions, as well as the responsibilities of units, businesses, households, and employees in participating in mandatory social insurance and health insurance.

In addition, there are benefits and rights for businesses, organizations, households, and employees when participating in mandatory social insurance and health insurance.

Representatives from the Economic and Environmental Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police also disseminated legal regulations regarding illegal acts that are strictly prohibited and must be dealt with according to the provisions of the 2016 Penal Code.

Representatives from the professional departments of the Lam Dong Provincial Social Insurance disseminated regulations to businesses and organizations.

During the dialogue, many opinions and questions were recorded regarding issues such as: labor contracts, registration for social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, and the responsibilities and rights of employers and employees. Representatives from the Social Insurance agency, professional departments, and relevant agencies directly and satisfactorily answered the concerns of the units.

According to the Social Insurance Law of 2024, from July 1, 2025, business owners with registered business licenses who pay taxes using the declaration method are subject to mandatory social insurance participation (other business owners will be subject to this from July 1, 2029).

Business owners who violate this regulation risk facing penalties of up to 75 million VND (depending on the severity of the violation) and must comply with measures to remedy the consequences.
