Many works left a deep impression, thanks to the meticulous investment in both content and form. These works delved into analyzing "hot" issues in the education sector; documented the practical implementation or offered social critiques of the sector's policies and decisions; and recorded the thoughts and aspirations of parents and students.
Many works spread beautiful stories of the education sector; examples of good people and good deeds; the noble hearts and selfless dedication of teachers… Among them are teachers who live and work in remote areas, volunteering to “plant the seeds of knowledge” in the farthest corners of the country.
Through journalistic works, we see the commitment of reporters to spreading exemplary teachers and the positive values that education brings throughout society.
“In the process of reform, besides opportunities and advantages, the education sector will also face many difficulties and challenges. More than ever, we always hope for and appreciate the joint efforts and support of the education sector; and this includes the indispensable support and companionship from the press and media,” Associate Professor Dr. Do Thi Thu Hang expressed.
In 2024, the National Journalism Award for the Cause of Vietnamese Education accepts entries in Vietnamese in four categories: print media, online media, radio, and television; published or broadcast on mass media from September 5, 2023, to September 5, 2024.
The most outstanding work will be awarded a Special Prize (receiving a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training). In addition, each category will have 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, and several Consolation Prizes; along with 2 exemplary individuals featured in the winning works.
